Eden Roc Hotel in Miami, Florida receives signage renovation
EMG Graphics has begun work on the extensive renovation of the architectural signage at the historicon historic Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.
Over a period of around 18 months, EMG has been undertaking a comprehensive signage replacement project for the historic Eden Roc Hotel. This project has included unit identification, wayfinding and amenity brand identity signage. The Eden Roc Hotel originally opened in 1956, the historic hotel. It’s prime location, has been helped it be one of the must-stay spots on Miami Beach for many years having many prominent guests from movie stars to politicians.
EMG created signage for the Eden Roc Hotel that provided a classic look reminiscent of the post-war boom times, but with a included modern touch. We were able to accomplish this unique custom look by using solid brass, individually hand antiqued dimensional letterforms, combined with waterjet cut intricate solid brass accents and symbols.
